Lesson Planning for Brooklyn Ballet

I am currently on faculty at the Brooklyn Ballet School, teaching primarily adult students on the weekends.

Teaching adults has been refreshing, since I spent majority of my week teaching children and teens. It has been a great joy creating ballet combinations that help my adult students escape the reality to fall in love with ballet instead! I also love teaching a little extra during the week because it keeps me creative and excited about leading others to enjoy ballet.

Above is a sample of how my lesson plans look like for my classes at Brooklyn Ballet. Apologies if they are hard to read with my shorthand notations. I usually number the combinations at the barre in the order that will be taught, and I also like to quote the name of the song on my playlist on Spotify, which I love putting together before every class.
