MIMI  LIU  WORKS  

This group ballet was created for my adult students at Brooklyn Ballet as part of their first-ever Adult Summer Intensive. Set within a ballet class environment, the piece draws inspiration from the studio itself, where an imagined large glass windows invite the curiosity of passersby. The work introduces a range of familiar class personalities: confident dancers, a student navigating first-day nerves, close-knit ballet friends, and natural leaders who guide the room. Altogether, it’s a charming and lively portrayal of the dynamics of an open ballet class in the heart of Brooklyn, New York.
