“The Drop That Fell Into The Ocean” is a collaboration between a student of mine at the Brooklyn Ballet, Harpist Lucia Stavros. The piece is inspired by Michael A. Singer's talk on "Growing through Fear and Desire", how one can choose to merge with something greater than oneself, like a drop of water that fell into the ocean, and one can only dare to look for it again...it's about merging with something greater than yourself, and letting go of your ego identity.
